Oh boy-
So, this past July my husband and I went to our first book convention as a signing author, and it was incredible! We met with so many talented authors and narrators including some of the cast of Fourth Wing like Khaya Fraites, Gabriel Michael, Robb Moreira and Henry Kramer. The weekend was a blast and honestly, we didn’t want to leave by the time it was over. August 1st, I was in El Dorado for a literary festival and networked with some local authors there as well. The thing I took away most from both of those events was how proud all of the indie authors are. How proud they are of their work that they poured over. I would love for an opportunity to have a trad offer on a book but as of now, I’m pulling the Triangle Project from querying.
The past few months I have poured a lot into writing whenever I can, and I now have a finished manuscript (the Triangle Project) and working on two other books that are unrelated. One of them is the second book to my Fallen Flames Saga which I have announced the title, She Calls Me Monster and it will be released December 21st of this year. And my other book is a dark romance that is titled for now as Project Spencer.
As for books I’ve read- I’m still reading Butcher and Blackbird because I’m doing the physical copy and I barely have time (don’t come for me! lol) But I listened to audio of The Inmate by Freida McFadden, Hitched by Lauren Biel and currently listening to Pen Pal J T Geissinger. I have gotten Zac, my husband, into listening to audiobooks as well so we’ve been devouring the ACOTAR series (a reread for me but his first time). We just finished A Court of Wings and Ruin.
